Visiting Mali

While Claudia prayed to go where no one wants to go, she's now crying out for HELP with the work constantly expanding.

Who can come?

Anyone who is ready to serve.

For how long should I come?

For your first visit, two to three weeks are just the right amount of time. It is recommended to do a short trip to Mali before staying for months or years.

Any specific help you need right now?

  • a school teacher (knowledge of French required)
  • a nurse/doctor
  • an accountant
  • a horticulturist
  • a cook
  • a driver
  • people to build the church
  • Bible teachers
  • people to hug and love on the kids

Can I join a group going to Mali?

No mission trips are scheduled at this time.

What are prerequisits for my visit?

Medically, you need to get a good number of shots to protect yourself. Only yellow fever is required.

Spiritually, you must be aware of the warfare going on when entering a country like Mali to advance His kingdom. Two recommendations are required for those coming by themselves; one from your pastor and one from another mature Christian who knows you well.

Emotionally, you must be able to form healthy relationships with other people, even those from other cultures, and ready to serve the other team members and people of the country you're visiting. Considering others better than yourself must be your attitude.
